Derry Barn


A charming place to spend a few days …


Derry Barn is a beautifully converted oak-beamed barn with a smart contemporary interior. It is in the Cotswold Water Park on the outskirts of Ashton Keynes village. This self-catering accommodation has one double bedroom. It has electric central heating. Derry Barn is situated in a private setting in the secluded and secure grounds of a non-working farm.

Ashton Keynes is the first village on the infant River Thames with a pub and restaurant, village shop, payphone, hairdressers and bus service all within a half mile. Kemble railway station is six miles away. There are about 140 lakes in the Cotswold Water Park some offering fishing, birdwatching and water sports. The Water Park and the Cotswolds are perfect for walking and cycling. Cycle hire is available and there are 2 public golf courses nearby.

The Cotswold villages such as Bibury, Bourton on the Water and Stow on the Wold are just a short drive. The beautiful historic market town of Cirencester (capital of the Cotswolds) with its famous parish church and museum is 6 miles. Swindon Designer Outlet and Great Western Railway Museum are 10 miles. Derry Barn is centrally located for day trips to Bath, Cheltenham and Oxford.
